Some Medicare Answers

• Medicare A is Free is you have paid Medicare taxes. There is a $1316 per hospitalization deductible (each hospitalization) and after 61 Days a $329 co pay per day
• Medicare Part B can be purchased and the premium taken from your monthly check
• Medicare Part D is the Prescription Drug Coverage. You must take Part D unless you have a creditable drug plan whether you need to take medications or not. If you do not take it, there will be a late enrollment penalty.
• You can select a different Part D every year - each plan is different, covers different drugs
